The Parish was started during the Covid 19 lock down period on 25th Sept 2020. The worship services were conducted on zoom every Sunday..

The first  Deacons to serve the congregation took vows on 21st Feb 2021.
These were Mrs Jane Chuchu
and Mrs Esther Kiilu
After a year or so Mrs Eunice Muchiri Njenga replaced Mrs Esther Kiilu who had stepped down. The two continued to  Coordinate the planning of church services up to the year 2024.
When the lockdown restrictions were relaxed, physical  monthly meetings were started. These took place on Saturdays.
In the year 2025, 2 more deacons were added namely, Mr Peter Thuo and Mr Robert Kangethe,both attended the seminar which was held in Luton and later commissioned.
In January the same year, the leaders decided it was time to start physical meetings and a place to meet was found.
On March 23 2025, the Birmingham Parish was officially launched by the Europe Mission Presbytery in a colourful service led by the Moderator Rev Edwin M Kibathi.
